Age of the group:  11 - 12 years old
Project period:  From the 19th of February to the end of April
Project description:
Each pupil will write descriptions of:
1. Myself and my family
2. My room 
3. My school
4. My neighbourhood

The first 2 weeks we will work with the topics Myself and My family. The pupis will write descriptions of themselves and their families. At the end of the second week the descriptions are exchanged with the partner school via e-mail.
When they receive the descriptions the pupils have to make drawings of their partner and his/her family.

The following 2 weeks we will work with topic no. 2. This will be sent forward at the end of the fourth week.
For topic no. 3 and 4 it will be the same procedure.

We use 2 weeks on each letter and 8 weeks on the whole project..

At the end we exchange the drawings either by fax or by snail mail  to see the result of our descriptions.
I would like as well to exchange photos and/or videos.

We would prefer a class of the same age, approximately the same number of pupils with English as the first second language.
Our second best subject is what we call art of sculpture wich means drawing.
