Snippets
Open the snippet library by selecting "Misc -> Snippet library..." from 40tude HTML's main menu.
Snippets are text files that are stored on your disk and can quickly be pasted into a document.
Apart from your own text snippets, the snippet library holds some predefined Javascripts that are configured through dialogs. Note that in contrast to your own text snippets you can't delete, edit or add new item to these predefined Javascripts.
Inside text snippets you can insert comment lines that will not be pasted into your documents. These comment lines start with three slashes "///". The three slashes have to be the first characters on a line.
Snippets are plain text files stored in the "[40tude HTML directory]\snippets\" directory.
If the "Store new snippets in current configuration only" checkbox is checked new snippets are stored in the "[Current configuration directory]\snippets\" directory. This can be useful when working with multiple configurations or with network installations where the user does not have write access for the "[40tude HTML directory]\snippets\" directory.
