Instructions Bub & Bob can be played alone or together with another human player. You are a little green or blue dinosaur with the ability to blow bubbles out your mouth. Your aim is to catch the deadly balls in level 100. So you have to play through all the 99 levels to get there. Some levels are much easier to play if you play in the two player mode. So you can say that the other player is your partner in most cases, in some cases he's your rival, for example if a big fruit appears that gives an extra score. You have to defeat all your enemies in a level to advance to the next level. There are different kinds of enemies with various abilities. Some can only walk, some can fly, some can shoot, some not. If you touch them or their shots you lose a life! Blow a bubble to the enemy to catch it. If the bubble hits the enemy it gets trapped inside the bubble. Now it's unable to move around anymore. Now you have to pop the bubble with your thorns. This lets the enemy inside die and fly around over the screen. After tumbling around the dead enemy turns to a fruit. Get it to receive a score. If you pop more than one bubbled enemy at once they turn into different fruits bringing higher scores: 500 Points 1000 Points 2000 Points 3000 Points If you don't pop bubbles with trapped enemies in time they set themselves free and get angry. Then they're twice as fast as before and so they're twice as dangerous for you! If you cannot clear a level in time every enemy gets angry and fast. Then you get a message saying: 'Hurry up!' If you still need too much time to clear a level this guy appears! It can't be defeated, so it stays and tries to catch you until you clear the level or lose a life. There are many many extra items in Bub & Bob. In every level two of them appear if you don't clear it too fast. The first one will give you points, the second one brings extra capabilities like power-ups, big fruits or diamonds in the end of a level, stopping the enemies or killing them at once. The extra items will always be good for you! It's fun to find out what each one of them will bring you. There are some extra bubbles that appear in certain levels. Pop letter bubbles to collect the letters of the word 'EXTEND'. If you can spell it completely you receive an extra life. There are also fire bubbles, lightning bubbles and water bubbles. Use their power to defeat the enemies much easier! Even if you have played the game for some time you may discover new extras or find out new strategies. That's why it can be fun for a long time!
