SHX2SHP
              Version 4.0, June 17, 1995

SHX2SHP.EXE "decompiles" .SHX files (converts them to .SHP
files), with all the nice cosmetics, like grouping in 
parentheses, using hex codes, signed or unsigned numbers,
as appropriate, and creating mnemonic names for unnamed 
shapes.  The results conform to the notation conventions 
recommended by Autodesk, and are often more readable then 
the original .SHP files used to create fonts and shapes.

Usage:		     SHX2SHP filename

'filename' should be an existing .SHX file (don't specify 
the extension).  SHX2SHP will create a .SHP file with the
same name.

The program has been tested with all available .SHX files
to verify that recompilation produces identical results, 
when using the same version of AutoCAD.  If it fails for 
you, please send us your .SHX file, and we'll fix the 
problem.

Version 4.0 of SHX2SHP handles the old-style Version 1.0 
.SHX files, the Version 1.1 files, introduced with AutoCAD
Release 12, and UNIFONT files, introduced with Release 13.

SHX2SHP doesn't handle BIGFONT .SHX files.  BIGX2P, which 
does, is also available for $100.
