Change History
v1.1
- It is now possible to delete links by creating them twice.
- Improved database search engine. Should work for most ROM-replacement apps that were causing problems.
- Help on the 'no database' dialog explaining the condition and asking for a bug-report.
- Fixed stack overflow which caused a device reset after the 'no database' dialog.
v1.0
Install
LinkDragon requires these elements to be present on the Palm:
- Hackmaster - An OS patch organizer.
- Swipe! - A Desk Accessory launcher
- followLink - The Desk Accessory used to follow links.
- makeLink - The Desk Accessory used to create new links.
Upload the referred programs to the Pilot. Then, launch Hackmaster and activate Swipe!. Press the Swipe! configuration button [+], in Hackmaster, and assign strokes to followLink and makeLink.
To create a link:
- Activate the source record. ex: Edit a record in MemoPad.
- Launch makeLink, using the Swipe! assigned pen stroke.
- Activate the target record.
- Launch makeLink again, using the Swipe! assigned pen stroke.
To follow a link:
- Activate the source record
- Launch followLink, using the Swipe! assigned pen stroke
- Select a destination link from the dialog box that pops up - only if there is more than one target.
Note: Currently, LinkDragon has a problem with applications that borrow databases. If you get an error stating 'Application <creator_id> has no database', and you feel it is inapropriate, please contact me, and send the following info: Creator ID of the App and the URL where I can get the app if you know it.
