1) Sound skips often.
How can I reduce the skipping?
Sound skipping occurs for many reasons. Most of the
time, you can reduce skipping by increasing the buffer size and/or priority
of the decoding engine. You can adjust these options from the configuration
window.
2) Where can I get more
skins for Soritong?
Visit our website
and go to skin section. We have some extra skins made by us and Soritong
users. We also have some links to sites that provide Soritong skins.
If you made a skin for Soritong, please submit it through email.
3) What is SH format,
which Soritong supports? Is there an encoder for it?
SH is our proprietary audio format which is still under
development. SH encoder included in the Thanksgiving version is an experimental
version, meaning that it is incomplete. If you have tried it, you may
have noticed the background noise. Because this is an experimental version,
we won't do any tech support on the encoder.
4) Soritong
Player is disappeared from the desktop, and I can't get it back on?
You probably have set the window mode to "Auto
Hide". In "Auto Hide" mode, Soritong Player appears only
when you bring your mouse to the corner of your desktop (any 4 corners).
Refer to Help file for details on other window modes.
5) Could you make so

6) Soritong doesn't play
some of mp3 songs. What's wrong?
Soritong previously had some problems with corrupted
mp3 files. The latest version of Soritong now handles these corrupted
files better. So if you are having still having this problem, please
report it to us.
7) When I try to install
Soritong following error message appears: "Win Zip Self-extractor header
corrupt. Possible cause. bad disk, or file transfer error"
That error message basically means that the file you
are running (self-extract zip file) is corrupted. There are 2 main causes:
Network problem and W95.CIH virus.
The majority of users experiencing this problem is
simply having a network connection problem (possibly caused by our server).
In this case, download Soritong again from our mirror sites, and try
installing again.
If that does not solve the problem, your system is
probably infected by W95.CIH virus. This virus is memory-resident, so
running AntiVirus program before disinfecting the memory may spead the
virus even more. Run KILL_CIH.EXE
first before running your AntiVirus program.
8) How do I uninstall
Soritong?
Uninstall from "Add/Remove Program"
in Control Panel.
