Edit Work Request

You can edit any field in the Work Request by either entering text in the fields, selecting pre-defined values for lookup fields, selecting check boxes, or adding/altering notes.

The Edit Work Request Toolbar

The Edit Work Request screen contains the following buttons. If you do not have one or more of these buttons displayed in your toolbar, it is because you do not have permission to use that feature.

Creating General Notes

To create a general note:

  1. Select Note. The note is added to the bottom of the request form.
  2. Enter the text of the note.
  3. Select Save.

Creating Discuss Notes

To create a discuss note:

  1. Select Discuss . The note is added to the bottom of the request form.
  2. Enter the text of the discuss note.
  3. Select Save.

Clearing Flags and Discusses

To clear a flagged or discussed note

  1. Select Clear Flag or Clear Discuss from above the note.
  2. Select Save.

Attaching Files to Requests

To attach files to a request:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Work Request screen.
  2. Select the Attach button in the Attachments section.
  3. Select the attachment method:
  1. Use the Browse buttons to select your file to attach.(You can attach up to 4 files at once.)
