Print Quality
In the Tektronix Features tab, select a Print Quality mode depending on your printing needs. These modes affect the appearance of your prints and the time they take to print. You can select a print quality mode in two ways: from the drop-down list or by clicking the Speed/Quality scroll bar. The displayed image changes to reflect your choice.
Tip: For best results, do not use a Resolution setting in another tab or dialog box; select print quality in the Tektronix Features tab.
- Fast Color: Fastest color print mode.
- Standard: General-purpose mode for color printing. Transparencies are always printed in Standard mode even if another mode is selected.
- Enhanced: Produces superior text resolution and smooth light colors.
- High Resolution/Photo: Produces highest-quality color prints with near photographic detail. Uses 1200 x 600 dpi. This mode requires the printer's DP or DX Features option; if you have one of these options, see Installable Options to make sure the option is set up with the driver.
