Image Smoothing

To select Image Smoothing, click the Advanced button in either the Layout tab or the Paper/Quality tab.

Image Smoothing blends adjacent colors in low-resolution images for smoother color transitions.

For example, use Image Smoothing to improve the appearance of a 72-dpi image downloaded from the World Wide Web.

Image Smoothing is not recommended for 300-dpi or higher images.

To use, select Yes in the Image Smoothing pop-up menu.
