Printer Diagnostics Dialog Box

From the Troubleshooting tab, click the Ambulance icon to start the Troubleshooting Utility. In the Diagnostics tab, click Configure Printer Diagnostics to open the Printer Diagnostics dialog box.

To view printer error messages on your computer screen, check the Automatic Printer Warning box.

The diagnostics utility checks the printer for errors every 5 seconds while a job is printing. You can change the time in the Polling Interval box from 1 to 60 seconds. For example, for a printer connected to a network, a longer time interval reduces the amount of network traffic.

Click Apply to activate changes without closing the dialog box.
