Install the files Atlas.prc and MathLib.prc using the standard Palm install tool.
If you use a PalmIII, IIIx, V or Palm VII device install the files PalmIII\Maps.pdb and PalmIII\PersonalPoints.pdb.
For other Palm models previous PalmIII, install the file PalmOther\Maps.pdb and PalmOther\PersonalPoints.pdb.
Set your Palm in its cradle and HotSync.
If you have registered the GPS Pilot Atlas, you can enter your code registration in the About Box (selectable from the Option menu) to get the full size of the GPS Pilot Atlas software.
Select the "SF Streets" map.
Zoom out with the hard scroll button, to get a larger view of the San Francisco. Zoom back in to SF Streets map.
Select the menu Options-Preferences and put checkmarks on all Map details icons to display all the defined locations.
Using your finger or the stylet, you can drag the maps to see surroundings and the defined locations.
You can get details of any location by clicking on it.
Tips: West of Union St there is an apartment for rent, Check out the runways of SFO airports.
Click the center to get the list of known points to focus on another location.
Choose to the Eiffel Tower point.
Zoom in/out to get the maps of Paris and the Eiffel Tower.
Select the menu Maps List, choose USA.
Drag the map to center to your city, or the city of your choice.
Create a point by hitting the hard Note button.
No more paper maps headaches to look up where you are, or suppose to be and where you go or should be going. Enjoy traveling light and accurate with your Palm and GpsPilot Atlas to co-pilot you.

Check out GpsPilot Cartographer and import in your Palm free maps from the Internet, from CD ROM atlas or paper scan and use them as digital gray scale or black&white maps with Atlas.
Use Topographer to import/export locational data between your PC and your Palm.
