What is an Audit Report?
An audit report is a detailed list of information about the
hardware and software configuration of a user's machine. An audit
report includes information about files, environment variables,
registry entries, hardware, and operating system.
There are two types of audit reports:
- Audit reports generated by users when they have
installation and configuration problems.
- Reference reports generated by you. Reference reports are
audit reports you generate on machines where there are no
installation or configuration problems. You use Triage
Analyzer to compare reference reports with the audit
reports submitted by users.
