   FAR 1.61

     1. Option "Copy files opened for writing" in "System settings".
        If switched on, FAR is able to copy files, which are opened
        by other programs for writing.

     2. Option "Position of new descriptions in the string" 
        in the "File descriptions" configuration dialog controls
        alignment of new descriptions in description lists.

     3. FAR now understands quoted file names in description lists,
        even if such names do not contain spaces.

     4. Significantly increased speed of deleting folders to Recycle Bin.

     5. The default FAR icon is changed. Now FAR tries to loads
        the icon from far.exe resources instead of external far.ico
        file, if possible. My thanks to Gregory Belenky for providing
        the icon.

     6. Added -ag command line switch, which disables usage of
        pseudographics characters.

     7. New %%R variable in "Archive support" plugin denotes
        the current folder in archive.

     8. Section names in the external archivers definition file
        'Plugins\MultiArc\Formats\custom.ini' are not important more.
        You may use any strings here, not only "Type<n>" as before.
        And if "TypeName" parameter is not defined, FAR will use
        section name as archive format name, so it is possible
        to remove "TypeName" strings at all.

     9. Fixed a few bugs:

        a) bug in the "Advanced compare" plugin, which sometimes
           caused incorrect comparing of subfolders;

        b) bug in file descriptions processing;

        c) problem with entering the '~' character in some keyboard
           layouts;

        d) ECaseEng.hlf help file erroneously contained information
           about "File names case conversion" plugin instead of
           "Text case conversion";
