SPRO, the Swedish Patent and Registration Office, grants patents and registers trademarks, designs and names. The SPRO also registers limited companies and other forms of companies that need registration. SPRO issues authorization to publish periodicals, and offers a number of commission services. Our activities are financed by fees and our offices are located in Stockholm,Sundsvall (PRV Bolag) and in S÷derhamn (the trademarks department).
Carl-Anders Ifvarsson is the Director General of the SPRO, that is administered by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
