"Social Trends" Project Team
For preparation of the main social reports and realization of the necessary research, teams of selected professionals from the following institutions have agreed to cooperate:
- The team of the Institute of Sociology, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic is focused on creating data archives, ensuring the participation of the Czech Republic in the International Social Survey Program (ISSP), and analyzing developments in social structure and inequality, economic behavior of the population, social policies, political attitudes, and voting behavior. The team of the Institute of Sociology is led by Petr Matějů and Jiří Večerník. Other team members include: Pavla Burdová, Blanka Řeháková, Klára Vlachová, Jan Řehák, Jindřich Krejčí and Martin Kreidl.
- The team of the School of Social Studies, Masaryk University, Brno is focused on the establishment of permanent post-graduate seminars for comparative studies, and will be devoted to the research of demographic development, as well as the analysis of the political situation and social problems. The Brno team is led by Ivo Možný and Ladislav Rabušic. Team members are: Petr Fiala and Petr Mareš.
- The team of the Faculty of Macroeconomics and Public Administration, University of Economics, Prague is focused on analyses of the basic trends in the Czech economy, developments in the labor market, employment and unemployment. The team is led by Kamil Janáček. Team members are: Milan Žák, Marie Frýdmanová and Stanislav Šaroch.
- The team of the Center of Educational Policy, Pedagogical Faculty, Charles University, Prague is focused on the compilation of analyses of the educational system and tendencies in the development and evaluation of human capital. The team is led by former OECD expert Ladislav Čerych. Team members are: Jana Švecová and Jiří Kotásek.
