Iran may play part in U.S. plan to topple Hussein
A United States campaign to drive Saddam Hussein from power will include tacit support of Iranian efforts to oust the Iraqi dictator, Washington has confirmed.
In a sign the Clinton administration is increasingly willing to pull out all stops in its confrontation with Iraq, U.S. State Department spokesman James Rubin said Friday the U.S. would not object to Iran undermining Hussein.
