To obtain information about the entity or group of entities for which you are searching, enter the appropriate data in the input form (screen).

These data can be divided into two groups:

the basic data - at least one of them must be filled in

the supplementary data - must always be accompanied by at least 1 basic datum

If no item of basic data is entered for searching (even if several items of supplementary data have been entered) the user will be warned that the search criteria are too general and, will be prompted to enter new search criteria.

The basic data include the following fields of the input form:

Trade name
ICO
Municipality
File ref. (consisting of the "Section" and "Inset")

The supplementary data are represented by the following fields of the input form:

Seat of the court
Legal form
Street

The individual fields of the input form must be filled in using the following instructions:

Trade name	This field serves for setting the trade name of searched entity. The maximum number of characters which you can enter here is 40.The name need not be entered exactly. The accuracy need not be observed from several points of view: It is not necessary to enter the whole name; entering several initial characters is sufficient. In response to the query the data base server will return a number of subjects the names of which begin with the entered characters. In setting the name it is not necessary to differentiate between capital and small letters. For the selection of the entity in this field accent marks are not significant either; you can enter the name with or without accent marks. The search ignores spaces and other special characters that are not included in the alphabet (e.g. $ % & " ) (! ? + - / * = ).
ICO	This field is used for entering the identification number of the organisation of the searched entity. The maximum allowable number of characters for this field is 8. ICO must be entered by means of digits only. If characters other than digits are included you will be warned of the incorrectness of the datum entered in this field. If the entered ICO is shorter than 8 characters, the introductory zeroes need not be entered.
Municipality	This field is used for entering the location of the entity's head office. The maximum allowable number of characters for this field is 50. To search successfully according to this criterion the name of the municipality must be entered exactly. I.e., accent marks are important, capital and small letters are differentiated, all characters are significant and the complete name is required.
File ref. - part Section	This field is used for entering the first part of the file reference which is called Section. The maximum allowable number of characters for this field is 12. To search successfully according to this criterion it is necessary to enter the specification of the Section exactly from the point of view of accent marks, capital and small letters, as well as special characters. The whole specification of the Section need not be entered. The result will be the return of a different number of records whose Section specification begins with the characters specified in this field.
File ref. - part Inset	This field is used for entering the second part of the file reference, called Inset. The maximum allowable number of characters for this field is 10. To search successfully according to this criterion the specification of the Inset must be entered exactly by means of digits only. If other characters than digits are included you will be warned of the incorrectness of the datum entered in this field.
Seat of the court	This field serves for setting the Registry Court at which the searched entity is kept. The selection of the court is performed interactively from the list offered. For searching, it is possible to select just one court from the list or, by selecting an empty field, to ask for the retrieval of entities without a restriction by this search criterion.
Legal form	This field is used for setting the legal form (type of company) of the searched entity. The selection of a particular legal form is performed interactively from the list offered. For searching, it is possible to select just one legal form from the list or, by selecting an empty field, to ask for the retrieval of entities without a restriction by this search criterion.
Street	This field serves for entering the street name of the entity's head office. The maximum allowable number of characters for this field is 50. To search successfully according to this criterion the name of the municipality must be entered exactly. I.e., accent marks are important, capital and small letters are differentiated, all characters are significant and the complete name is required.

Because the number of entities retrieved can vary greatly depending on the selected input data, you can select, in advance, the maximum number of subjects which will be displayed for the input condition in question. At your discretion the number of entities retrieved can be limited to 50, 200 or 500 entities matching the input conditions. You will be informed of the total number of entities matching the input conditions.
