Since Monday, November 2, 1998 to March 1999 lasts the winter tourist season:
the grounds of Prague Castle are open from 5 AM to 11 PM. The sights are open daily and can be visited with the purchase of Prague Castle Ticket from 9 AM to 4 PM.
The Royal Garden, the South Gardens and the Upper Deer Moat are closed, the Garden at the Terrace of the Riding School is open daily from 10 AM to 4 PM. The Garden on the Ramparts is accesible when the rest of the Castle complex is open.

The park at the Castle of Lßny is closed during the period of the winter tourist season (to Easter 1999). During this period it will be open only at March 7, 1999, at the anniversary of birthday of TomßÜ Garrigue Masaryk, the first president of Czechoslovakia.

The Precious Stones in Gothic Art
The information on the deposits and technology of working will be shown besides the pieces made from the precious stones, of both the sacral and profane character. The replicas of the coronation jewels will be shown instead of the short-term exhibited originals.
