FILES IN THE TEMPLATE FOLDER ---------------------------- 03-Jun-1997 This README file describes what the other files in the TEMPLATE folder are for. When the Setup program installs DesignWave on your machine, it also makes some entries in the system registry that give rise to 2 new menu entries on the popup menu within the Windows Explorer. These entries are: New -> DesignWave Design New -> DesignWave Drawing Each of these commands creates a new file in the current folder. The file created is a copy of the corresponding master file in the TEMPLATE folder: master.cvp Design master master.cvd Drawing master The files installed for you are empty part and drawing files, just like ones produced when you use the New command on the File menu within DesignWave. You might consider editing these files to produce customized templates. For example, the drawing master might be edited to use a particular format, or the part master might be edited to give you workplanes and sketches with different names from those usually offered. Note that editing these masters will not affect parts and drawings created using the New command on the File menu inside DesignWave.
