Welcome to CloseUp - the definitive Zoom tool! This utility is FREE! Thanks to Windows Tech Journal and Oakley Publishing for making it possible! CloseUp is a small utility that shows you in real time what is directly under the mouse pointer. It is perfect for any graphics artist that needs control down to the single pixel under the mouse's hotspot. CloseUp is a 16-bit application, but it works under Windows 95. It works with any video adapter and resolution. It sits on your screen and constantly updates anytime you move the mouse. You can put the window anywhere, and it will remember where it was the next time you start it. You can enlarge or shrink the window, too! It stays on top of other windows, so you can work with your application in full-screen mode. CloseUp consists of three files. CU16.EXE is the main program, and SYSHOOKS.DLL is the part that makes most of it possible. Then, there's the help file, CU16.HLP, which doesn't say much as the utility is so easy to use. These files can be placed in any directory (the DLL should be in the same directory as the EXE).
