Vendors who wish to distribute NewsMonger.

                             Distribution

This program and its associated files are part of an evaluation
package that is copyrighted by TechSmith Corporation and is not in the
public domain.  If this program is used longer than a 45-day evaluation
period, it must be registered.  The files that comprise the NewsMonger
evaluation package, or the NewsMonger archive file, may be freely 
distributed or listed by software vendors as long as files in the
package are kept together and are not modified.  However, written
permission must be received to distribute NewsMonger on retail racks,
CD Roms, or bundled with any other product.

Disk Vendors, Shareware Distributors and BBSs may charge a nominal fee
for distribution of NewsMonger.  However, the recipient of the software
must be informed, in advance, that payment of the distribution fee does
not replace, reduce or eliminate the NewsMonger Licensing requirement
which applies to use after the evaluation period.

TechSmith Corporation's NewsMonger agent for Microsoft Windows 95 & NT
provides complete monitoring of the Internet’s largest source of new
information, the USENET news service. NewsMonger supports multiple
searches, search scheduling and e-mail notification when new articles
matching your criteria are discovered. NewsMonger works with Digital’s
AltaVista search engine to provide a complete audit of the contents of
all newsgroups. Of course, your search criteria can limit matches to
specified newsgroups or exclude inappropriate newsgroups. After creating
and scheduling your searches, you can continue with your other tasks --
NewsMonger will notify you or the appropriate person when a new article
meeting your criteria is discovered.

NewsMonger Features include:

o  Constructs and refines the search query, or allows you to
   directly create the query.

o  Supports dozens of queries and thousands of matching postings.

o  Searches USENET newsgroups for each of your active queries, using
   Digital’s AltaVista engine, on demand, or as scheduled by you.

o  Removes duplicate postings and identifies new submissions. 

o  Sends immediate notification via e-mail when new postings
   matching your criteria are discovered.

o  Provides direct viewing of the selected messages. You can also
   view them with your web browser or e-mail client.

o  Compose and send e-mail or post newsgroup replies directly from
   NewsMonger. Or use your web browser or e-mail client to reply.

o  Automatically reschedules queries that could not be executed
   because of an interruption in  service or non-permanent
   (dial-up) connection.

o  Works with network firewall proxies and supports HTTP proxy and
   news server authentication.

                             Requirements

NewsMonger requires Microsoft Windows 95, or Windows NT (3.51 or later),
a permanent or dial-up connection to the Internet, a mouse or other
pointing device, and for printed output, a Windows-supported printer.

                             Registration

The NewsMonger license fee is $39.95. To obtain an individual
or multi-user license, follow the instructions found in the README.TXT
file.

With the software license, your customers will receive the following:
o  A software key that disables the evaluation time-limit and removes
   all registration reminder screens.
o  Notification of NewsMonger version upgrades.
o  E-mail support for NewsMonger questions.
