1. Organizing and Managing Questions
The JBC program has a number of other features which may help you to make quizzes more quickly and easily. Some of these are found under the menu item labelled Manage Questions:
The three middle items enable you to delete, insert and move questions in your quiz. The top item, View Quiz Outline, will launch the following screen:
You can use this view of the quiz to review all the questions, and you can even drag and drop the questions to change their order if you wish.
2. Customizing Your Pages
Web pages produced by JBC use a standard red and blue colour scheme. However, if you know HTML well, you can easily change these colours by doing a search-and-replace on the text of the Web pages. The blue colour used has the hexadecimal code 150890, and the red is BA050A. You can search for these colours and replace them with the hex codes of your own preferred colours.
Similarly, you can edit and customize other aspects of the Web pages produced by the program if you are comfortable doing this. As long as JavaScript functions and calls are left unchanged, the pages should continue to function properly.
3. Getting More Help
JBC has a full Help program which uses the Windows Help Engine. Use the Help menu, click on a Help button, or press F1 to get context-sensitive help for the part of the program you are currently working with.
