Program Description

Secure Network Messenger (SNM) - is a real time network messenger with ability to exchange text messages and files between your company's workers without leaving their work places. This messenger is able to solve all the problems in communication between your company staff members cardinally. SNM is especially designed to work with medium and large local area networks, but it is also convenient for small local networks consisting of two and up to several dozens of computers. 
The program has all the necessary features to work with large and small local area networks, home and office. It is quite simple in adjustment and it has a great number of additional service features.

Installation
-------------

       * Copy the distribution kit into the temporary directory
         unzip it. Then run setup.exe installation utility.

       * Note: If you've got Secure Network Messenger not from its web
         page, but  from the other source (magazine CD or some
         software  library),  please  visit  its  home  page at
         www.networkmessengers.com  -  you'll  probably find
         the later version.

Help system
-----------

       * Secure Network Messenger help  system  uses latest HTML Help
         technology   for   easy   searching  answer  for  your
         questions.  HTML  Help  support  is included in latest
         versions   (at   least   4.0) of  Microsoft  Internet
         Explorer,  Windows  98,  Windows  NT  5.0,  and Visual
         Studio.

         If you haven't HTML Help installed, you need to download
         it as standalone component from

                www.microsoft.com/workshop/author/htmlhelp/

      * Pentium 166 based IBM PC compatible computer (or higher)
      * 16 Mb of memory
      * About 6900 Kb free disk space
      * Microsoft Windows 9X/Milennium or Windows XP/2003/2000/NT

      * A network or Internet access

      * Secure Network Messenger is  a  trial  software.  It's fully
        functional  during  trial  period,  but number of chat clients
        is resticted by 3
