BrilliantPhoto Help

Welcome to BrilliantPhoto online help!

BrilliantPhoto provides tools for the management, improvement, and sharing of digital photos. You can import photos into photo libraries from files, digital cameras, scanners, or email attachments. Photo libraries provide tools for organizing and describing photos so you can find them quickly. BrilliantPhoto is also a great place to solve problems like red eye and flash failure. You can even improve your pictures by adjusting brightness, sharpness, and more. Later, if you want to share your pictures, you can email them to your friends, print them, create a web album, or copy them onto a CD (Compact Disc).

Getting help

BrilliantPhoto's design is friendly enough for you to learn its tools and commands quickly. If you're an experienced PC (Personal Computer) user, you'll rapidly learn to use many of BrilliantPhoto's commands. Even if you're not experienced with PCs, you can learn to use BrilliantPhoto within a short time. Yet, sometimes you might need help to carry out a task. To get an idea of how you can find help, read finding help topics. Other ways to find help include turning on tips, visiting Brilliant Labs' Support Forum, and contacting Brilliant Labs.

Note: Try using the How do I? button on the upper, right corner of the task pane. This button opens help topics related to the currently open sidebar or dialog box.

Turning on tips

You can also get help by turning on tips in the Help menu. Tips appear in the upper, right-hand corner of BrilliantPhoto while you work. The tip icon is the smiley face on the right end of the toolbar. When tips are on, the smiley face is colorful and it shows its advice in balloons. When tips are off, the smiley face is gray and it no longer offers advice but will continue to show error messages as necessary.
