DESCRIPTION
===================
Zilab Remote Console Server is a highly developed remote access server for 
Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 with an advanced set of features. With Zilab server, you can 
remotely execute any console-based applications, including legacy DOS 
applications with speed and control of the locally running applications. 
All kinds of the keyboard and mouse input are supported.

Main Features

Multi-user support. 
Runs as a generic Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 service. All sessions are invisible for a logged-on user (if any). 
Supports all of the console-based applications. 
Full console color attributes support. 
Full special keys support, including the Ctrl-C key combination. 
Dynamic console size tracking. (Up to 255x255). 
Transparent client side printing.
TCP port forwarding.

Special Features 

Enjoy the special process rebinding feature. 
For pending processes, the process lifetime is user-defined. 
Every session has an independent clipboard on the server side. 
In-session files downloading. An ability to resume the download is provided. 
In-session files uploading. An ability to resume the upload is provided. 
Special network traffic reducing technology. The reducing level depends on the content's uniformity. 
Graceful termination of the user processes. 

Administrative Features 

Access is restricted by a definable Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 user group. 
IP address (or address' group) restricted access. Separated allowed and denied addresses lists. 
Management console allows sending online messages to users.

Online session termination. (With a clean process shutdown procedure).

Flexible access time management. 
File transfer operations are restricted by the definable Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 user groups, separately for downloading and uploading.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
===================

To run Zilab Remote Console Server, your system must meet the following 
minimum requirements:

- A 486 with a 66 MHz processor (Pentium processor recommended)
- Microsoft Windows NT 4.0. It is recommended to run Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3 (or higher)
or
- Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003.
- 5 MB of hard-disk space.


SETUP
=====

- To install Zilab Remote Console Server you MUST have administrative privileges.


Uninstalling Remote Console Server
----------------------------------
You can uninstall Remote Console Server by carrying out the 
following steps:

1. In Control Panel, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
2. Click Zilab Remote Console Server, and then click Add/Remove.
3. Follow the instructions on your screen.
