You had always wanted to superimpose a frame or border over your image but the image will be covered. Now with the Set Transparent feature, you can.
The set transparent feature allows you to pick a color that you want to make transparent. Once the color is selected, the portion of the image that contains that selected color will become transparent. You can set as many transparent images on a page as you like.
To set transparent:
Right click on the image and select Transparent.
Your mouse cursor will change into an eye dropper with trailing color settings. The Red/Green/Blue color setting indicates the color to be selected. For example, Red: 255 Green: 255 Blue: 255 refers to the white color.
Once you can decided on the color you want to set transparent, click your left mouse button and the all the portions of the image that contains that selected color will become transparent.
With the image transparent, you can now add another image (using Insert Multi-Media Object), send it to the back to create the superimposed effect.
Note: There would be instances where not all the relevant portions of the image becomes transparent. This could be due to the different shades of colors used or due to the compression from the original image to JPG format. This Set Transparent feature would work effectively if you use it on a image that has been originally designed for transparency. |
