Defragmenting the Registry

Note: this functionality is only available when running on Windows XP, 2000 or NT.

Over time, your Registry may become fragmented which may affect its performance. Resplendent Registrar allows you to defragment your registry with a single-click. To enter the Registry Defragmentation Tool, choose Defragment Registry from the Tools menu.

Click the Defragment button to start the Defragmentation process. Note that a reboot is required after the defragmentation process has finished. The defragmentation process consists of a total registry backup, restore and a reboot.
