Before adding scripts, keep in mind that scripts will usually utilize at least two frames in your Web browser. Here is a quick description of the possible scripts in streaming format:
URL (Uniform Resource Locator): When you create an URL script, it is optimal if you have created at least two frames in your Web page (HTML file). This way, TalkingShowâ„¢ will seamlessly synchronize with the opening of your Website(s) of choice or other files when it sends the specific URL to your browser. This is taught in Embedding Windows Media Player in your Browser. Otherwise, the URL will replace your show if you have only one frame.
FILENAME: This is a URL to another media file to be played which will replace the existing file. For creating a file name script, this depends on your browser's capability to handle your file format. This is best for playing consecutive streaming or video files in the same frame. If you would like to make use of streaming file synchronization with a URL and other files in a separate frame, you must enter a URL script.
TEXT: This provides viewers and Web visitors with additional information in the form of a text string located below your TalkingShowâ„¢ presentation.
Tip: Remember to turn on your captions when playing files with your Player!
EVENT: Type in the name of the event here, which could be a message, playlist, ad insertion or any modifications for your Web page during your show.
OPENEVENT: Preceding the actual EVENT, this script assists you in pre-buffering the content (i.e. prepares it) so that the EVENT occurs almost seamlessly during the switch.
