Generating Visemes


After you have loaded the voice clip successfully, the next basic task is to generate visemes, which basically compromise all the lip synchronization in your show.

Info: A viseme is a visual correlate to phonemes, the smallest structural unit of speech sound which can distinguish one word from another.

To do so, simply click Recognize located on the right toolbar or go to HAP > Recognize Voice Clip. The process usually takes a 1-5 minutes depending on the length of the Wave file (e.g. 60 second Wave file takes 1-2 minutes).

Now, after the visemes have been generated, you may preview your TalkingShowâ„¢ by pressing Play in the Preview window. For more information regarding visemes and phonemes, refer to the following table:
