Background images enhance the visual aspect of your show and gives a perfect backdrop. You may also use a variety of images during the course of the show. Before you begin adding images to your project, keep in mind the file size and limitations:
256x256 image size
If built as a .TSF streaming file, it will only play the first background image
If you would like help with cropping your image to a 256x256 size, please refer to the Processing the Image section.
This is a two step process. Before you select the area to insert your background image, you first must add the image into your project. There are two ways to add background images to your project:
The first method is to go to Accessories > Background Image > Add or click on the icon in the main toolbar.
Pick an image file and then click Open.
The second method is to click the BG Image tab. Right click and a menu will appear. Choose Add.
Select a suitable image file. Click Open.
This image file should now appear under this tab.
Now that your background image has been added to your project, you now must select a specific area to insert it in.
Drag it over to the Action row when in the Head Animation Pack mode and release. The position indicator line will direct you to the placement of the image file.
Another method is to first select a viseme or an area by clicking and dragging in one of the rows.
Right click in the Action row and a menu appears. Choose Insert > Image... You may also go to HAP > Insert > Action > Image.
Select a background image. Click OK.
Note: Inserted background images do not have a time duration. Thus, inserted images will remain the background image for the show's entirety. If you would like the background image to revert back to the default image, you must insert the default image.
