In order to scan folders or files, follow the steps below:

1. In the Panda Antivirus Titanium window, go to the Scan menu.
   
2. Then you will be able to scan any component of your computer. In order to scan a folder or a file, select the option Scan other items.
   
3. This displays the dialog box in which the icons for the Folders and Files scans appear:
   
    Folders. When you click on the folders icon, a dialog box with all of the folders will be displayed. Click on the checkbox that appears on the left of each one in order to select the folders to be scanned. When you have selected them, click on the OK button.
   
    Files. When you click on the files icon, a dialog box will appear. Using the drop-down list Look in:, select the disk drive and folder in which the files that you want to scan are located. In order to select a file, click on it. If you want to scan several files, click on them whilst holding down the CTRL (control) key. When the files have been selected, click on the Open button.
