Stats

(This plugin is part of NetLimiter 2 Pro only)

Main purpose of æStatsÆ plugin is to display statistical information about internet activity of programs running on your computer and the computer itself. It displays transferred amount of data (sent and received) for selected application during selected time period (hours, days, months etc.).

Stats plug can be launched as a normal plugin û Click on View at the Main menu and select the Stats option.
If you would like to view stats for particular application, then simply select it in a Connection view and the stats will be displayed in the Stats window.

There are 3 selection menus in the Stats plugin:

Date: This menu allow you to select from several predefined time periods. If you need to specify your own time period (which is not in then selection menu), then select Otherà   option.
Zone: Select Zone for which you would like display statistics.
Units: Select units in which you would like to display statistics. (B is byte, kB is kilobyte, MB is Megabyte and GB is Gigabyte).

The stats are not automatically refreshed, so if would like to get latest stats, then click on æRefreshÆ button.

Stats Exports

This feature will help you to export stats in common data/document format (HTML, XML) so it can be further presented to others or preserved for future use. For example, you can publish the traffic data on your webserver and your customers will be able to view it with standard web browser like IE or Mozilla. Stats can be exported automatically into a given folder in a specified time interval.

How to export stats?

• Click on Export button located at bottom of the Stats window. Export page will appear.
• Choose, if you would like to export stats once or periodically.
• Choose a Zone, for which the data will be exported.
• Choose a folder, where to export stats. The folder should be empty. You can use the 'Browse' button to locate existing folder or to create new.
• Click on Export button to save your export settings.

Stats are exported in xml/html file format. To view it open the file ä/xml/index.xmlô located in the specified folder. For example, you can use IE or Mozilla or other XSL compliant browser to view it.
