NetManage, Inc. was founded in May 1990 and is the fastest growing networking software company today. NetManage develops, markets and supports an integrated set of TCP/IP connectivity applications and development tools for Microsoft Windows that facilitate communications and administration of personal computers across dissimilar networking environments. The company's Chameleon product family was the first to be designed specifically for Microsoft Windows inter-networking.

NetManage is the leader in the development of industry standards for Windows TCP/IP. The industry standand Windows Sockets (WinSock) interface is based on the NetManage specification. NetManage was instrumental in helping to develop the Windows standard for the Simple Network Management Protocol (WinSNMP), adopted in 1993. The WinISDN interface was also developed by NetManage in 1994.

The company's products are sold worldwide by NetManage's own direct sales organization, OEMs, resellers, and through distributors internationally. NetManage is a public company, whose shares are traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol NETM.
