     In general, ABrowse() was rewritten using a new architecture.

     1. ABlock(): The existing ABlock() was retained unchanged in
        case anyone was using it.

     2. ABrowse(): Changed to use detached function locals instead
        of a macro-compiled block.

     3. ABrowse(): Changed to save and restore cursor setting.
