[About The Guide]
Overview of Expand library functions
All Functions in the Expand library guide are presented in a
similar fashion, grouped by functionality into blocks,
such as 'High Level' MOUSE functions or 1-2-3 related functions.
The functions have not been ordered alphabetically on
purpose, as it is probably clearer to find out the relating
functions this way. The 'Functionality Blocks' are ordered in
random order.
Every function is described in a similar fashion, beginning
by some general comments about the function's purpose and/or
typical usage. Sometimes there's also some technical information.
After that, the Clipper syntax is presented followed by a description
of arguments and/or return values. Finally there will generally be a
small part of Clipper code that demonstrates the function's typical
usage. "See Also" references can often be found.
Sometimes a group of function descriptions is headed by some
general comments about the functions, do read that information,
as it may contain valuable/important information.
Typical usage of most functions is well illustrated in the
EXPDEMO.PRG program. Refer to those when it is not clear to
find out how to use the function.
