The latest version of the Expand library for Clipper 5.01
is always available at the BBS of the Clipper Developers Group
Netherlands (CDGN), The CDGN BBS (also known as HEKOM BBS) phone:
(31)3483-4072, 24Hrs. You can also F'req the Expand library at
the following adres: 2:500/223. Use Magic name EXPAND for the
latest version of Expand for Clipper 5.01, and Magic name
EXPAND87 for Clipper '87. Electronic Mail can also be sent to
that adres, as I regurlarly call the BBS. I do not currently
operate as a point from there, though.
Before registering, read the license and make sur you
will want to register, as it is not always required. As
stated in the License, one can Register the Expand
library with three 'levels'. These are the following:
Standard: This is the standard method of registering.
This means that you're satisfied with the package as it
is now, and want to start using it for your Commercial
applications. A disk with the latest version of the library,
including some additional files will be sent.
Advanced: This is a more alaborate version. You want
to use the Expand library for your applications but need
some more flexibility on the 'High Level' Mouse routines.
This registration will send you a disk, containing the
latest version of the library, and the sources to the
high level Mouse routines in a few *.PRG files. Which
allows you to easily create your own 'High Level' Mouse
routines, as you now have examples on how to program the
Mouse, and quite some routines ready to use.
Complete: With the Complete registration you will not
only get the latest version of the library, but also all
the sources, including the Make and User-Response Files
required to create the library. This resumes to . 30 .ASM
files, . 15 .PRG files and other files required by
the library. This will give you a very good insight on
how to program in Assembly for Clipper, and a huge amount
of Assembly and Clipper examples, as well as tremendous
flexibility, and this for a very reasonable price.
Note that registered users may under no circumstances distribute
the additional files, the sources remain copyrighted and are
submitted as examples only. You may modify them for personal use
or incorporation in executable files, in such a way that recreating
the original files is impossible when distributing the files.
The tariffs are the following:
Standard . 75,-
Advanced . 150,-
Complete . 300,-
The prices are indicated in Dutch guilders, any equivalent
amount in other currencies is also accepted. Currently, you can divide
by two to get the equivalent amount in US dollars.
These are all Netto prices, currently one should add
18.5% VAT for the Netherlands. The preferred way to
register would be to notify me of your wish to receive a
registration by mail or phone. I would subsequently send you an
invoice, along with diskettes. If, by some obscure reason,
you are not satisfied you can always return the
package within two weeks, the registration takes effect
once I have received the money or a cheque.
Pepijn Smits Software is registered at the Chamber of
Commerce and industry of Rotterdam under number 186466.
If you wish to implement some complicated interface or routine
in Clipper by usage of Assembly or Clipper. Then, Do
not hesitate to contact me, as I could be able to help you
develop the Assembly interface required. This also applies to normal
Clipper applications that you would want developed. Hoping that
this library convinced you of the capacities.
