Reversi for the Palm Pilot V0.1
by Julian Jiggins
This is the classic game of Reversi. The object of the game is to turn as many pieces to your color as possible. You play white and the computer plays black.
On the higher levels a blinking * is displayed at the top of the screen whilst the computer is thinking.
White goes first then the starting color alternates after each finished game.
There are 3 levels of play (0,1 & 2) controlled in this version by simply writing a 0,1 or 2.
For speed the piece animation can be toggled on and off by writing an 'a'.
This was my first Pilot application. It was written under Windows95 with Microsoft Visual C++ for the Mac. Please forgive the somewhat clunky user interface as I didn't have the benefit of any of the Mac hosted Pilot UI layout tools.
Much thanks to Darrin Massena for his early PC Pilot hacking work.
This game is freeware (and no I didn't use the Windows Reversi source).
Let me know if the game is too easy or too hard, the game play algorithm may need tuning.
