Michael Richards (Unstrung Heroes), best known as Kramer on the hit
sitcom "Seinfeld," teams with Jeff Daniels, the co-star of Dumb and
Dumber, in this hilarious contempt-of-court comedy about an actor who
poses as an attorney to defend a man on trial for fraud. When a
bachelor party leaves Charlie Tuttle (Daniels) a babbling mess on the
morning of a career-making-or-breaking legal appearance, his best
friend (Richards) takes the law into his own hands. Also starring Rip
Torn and Charlize Theron (Two Days in the Valley), the film is
directed by Jonathan Lynn (My Cousin Vinny) and produced by Academy
Award-nominated screenwriter Gary Ross (Dave, Big). Trial & Error
was written by Sara and Gregory Bernstein.
