Aspire-x is a 32-bit, text-based HTML editor designed to run on Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows NT V3.51. A Microsoft Windows 3.1 version will follow shortly. Until then, Windows 3.1 users can download Aspire Version 1.3 from this site.
The primary purpose of Aspire-x is to allow the easy development of World Wide Web pages for developers of all levels - from beginners to advanced.
If you are new to the world of HTML and web page development, you will find Aspire-x helpful as it provides meaningful buttons and menu commands. In addition, Aspire-x comes with context-sensitive help files allowing a reference point - both in the use of Aspire-x and in the use of HTML 'tags'. Aspire-x also has many other features to help you design your web page quickly and easily.
If you are a more experienced HTML developer, Aspire-x can also be a useful tool in the development of your web pages. It is simple and quick to use, allowing pages to be created in minutes by inputting all the relevant HTML tags for you. You can also choose from a variety of options, including the editing level to which you want to work (for example, Netscape 2.0, Explorer 2.0, and so on).
