: I have worked at Mc Donalds for almost 5 1/2 years, granted it is the only job I have ever had, but I couldn't ask to work for a better corperation.
: I am a second assistant manager. I am in my third store, which just opened in dec of 96. I have worked my way to the position that I hold from a crew person. I can relate to a lot of the complaints that crew people have, but you must understand that with the responsibilities that we hold some of the time we forget who is most important in our buisness, besides the customers, the crew people. You are the people who run everything. I apologize for all the managers who seem too preoccupied with what else is going on to notice and comend you for all your efforts put into doing your job. I just have one piece of advice for you all, talk to your managers let them know how you feel. That is the only way that they will truely understand what you are trying to get through to them. That is how I got where I am, and I continue to speak my mind with corporation, that is how I am going to get to where I want to go...
: I wish you all good luck in everything that you decide to do with the company even if it just staying as a crew person, but you do have the potential to run/own your own store one day..
: Thank you for the uplifting message. I was getting sick and tired of all the bitching. I've worked at my McDonald's for 6 years and I know I've had my moments where I've wanted to quit, but my overall experience has been great. If you don't enjoy your job, why areyou still there?
