I am an employee of a Mcdonalds store on the South Coast of NSW Australia and I have a major gripe. My store manager is engaged to one of the managers and whenever I encounter any problems with this particular individual I have no where to go. Indeed, like all employees of the Mcdonalds organisation this manager, when an employee had to sign a legally binding document that prohibited him from engaging in such activity. I think it is totally wrong that this can occur with the full knowledge of the owner/operator. I for one have no individual to turn to when I encounter a problem and after encountering a problem last week with this particluar manager I found that I had no shifts for the coming week. JUSTICE, what JUSTICE. And if you think I'm new to the job and just whinging then you are wrong. I am an university student on scholarship and have worked at this particular store through thick and thin for the past six and half years. (Someone had to put me through uni) I have seen many problems throughout my time, but this is by far the biggest and the one that seems to have the littlest chance of being resolved. ![]()
