HE SHOULD HAVE HANDLED YOUR SITUATION IN A MUCH DIFFERENT WAY. AS FOR YOUR ORIGINAL SUBJECT MATTER, YES, MCDONALDS DOES "Q" OR MICROWAVE ITS BURGERS. IT JOINED MOST OTHER FAST FOOD CHAINS IN AROUND 1988 OR SO BY ADDING THE "Q'ING OVEN" TO ITS LIST OF STANDARD KITCHEN EQUIPTMENT. IT HAS NEVER BEEN KEPT ANY GREAT SECRET. YOU ACT AS THOUGH IT WAS SOME HIDDEN FACT. IT IS NOT. YOU WILL PROBABLY BE PLEASED TO DISCOVER THAT, IN LIMITED MARKETS, MCDONALDS IS TESTING A RETURN TO THE TOASTED BUN, NON STAGED MEAT, AND NOT MICROWAVED SANDWICHES, SIMILAR TO THE WAY IT WAS DONE UP UNTIL 1988'ISH. IT IS GENERALLY CONSIDERED A MISTAKE BY MCDONALDS MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL THAT MCDONALDS EVER CHANGED ITS ASSEMBLY PROCEEDURES TO INCLUDE STAGING PRODUCT OR "Q-ING" IT. THE OVERALL LOSS IN PRODUCT QUALITY WAS NOT WORTH THE CHANGE. I DO PREDICT A RETURN TO THE OLD WAYS COMING IN THE NOT SO DISTANT FUTURE. I SUSPECT THAT ALL WHO CHOOSE TO DINE AT ANY OF MCDONALDS 19,000 STORES WORLDWIDE WILL SOON NOTICE A DIFFERENCE IN THE TASTE AND OVERALL QUALITY OF THE MCPRODUCTS THEY PURCHASE. IT WILL PROVE A POSITIVE STEP TOWARD IMPROVING PRODUCT QUALITY THAT I THINK MOST CUSTOMERS WILL LOVE.
