People and organisations tend to get popular by advertising, which
is the 20th-century euphemism for 'lying'. As I recall, Adolf Hitler and
Mussolini were both democratically elected, thus being _very_ popular.
It did not make them nice, though.

McD's may serve 1 billion customers world-wide and every customer is happy.
This proves nothing. People still smoke, depsite clear evidence that it is
extremely damaging to their health, and the tobacco companies probably serve
as many people per day as McD's do.

Just because something's popular, it doesn't make it any better. Naziism and
Facism got quite a following sixty years ago, and training, and uniforms for
the staff.
