I worked at McD's for about 2 months right after I graduated from
college. I was getting paid minimum wage. My question for you is
now that you have been working for 5 years at McD's, how much are
you getting paid an hour. Once I quit my job there, I found another
job at my college and within 1 year, I got promoted and a $1 an hour
raise. I'm willing to bet that you haven't done that much better
in the 5 years that you have worked there. McD's isn't that bad
of a place to work for a summer, but 5 years is bordering on insanity.
