Solidarity from McLibel defendant

I've just read all the contributions from current and ex workers
and managers (and others) at McDonald's - its very informative.
Due to the obvious lack of rights existing in the company, a
forum for discussion and communication is urgently needed, and this
is certainly a start.

I'm going to keep my eye on this page. It strikes me that
everyone should let McDonald's workers know about this
opportunity to get in touch with each other, to share ideas and
experiences.

Helen and I have called about 30 ex-staff to testify in the
McLibel trial, and grilled company execs in charge of personnel
departments - in this way the image portrayed by the company
has been torn away, and the reality has been revealed (see the
defence statements on the Site, and trial bulletins).

As an ex-postman, and branch secretary of my Union there, I
know how vital it is for workers to organise their OWN meetings,
communication, views, ideas etc, and to organise together to
stand up to bullies like McDonald's.

I look forward to hearing your experiences from all round the
world! Wherever there is oppression, there is resistance.

In Solidarity, Dave Morris (One of the McLibel 2)
