Ah yes, I remember it well

Now we are talking about earthworms, I do recall reading a copy of Omni magazine in the early 80's which mentioned the worms myth. I also recall a 'McDonald's Spokesman' pointing out that pound-for-pound, earthworms are more expensive than beef.

Some of these endearing myths never really die, do they?
