That's right Dee. Kinda like government mandated minimum wages being a "socialist evil" that stop "us" from attaining "freedom". There should be a balanced view of social issues and it won't be accomodated by corporate media so that's why a group of activists got together and started up this website.

Even though I'm a little flustered with the way postings turn up as a finished product here I find that if it wasn't for folks like the McSpotlight crew we wouldn't get the down and dirty on McDonald's except for our gut feelings (no pun intended). Now the gut feelings of millions has been confirmed and if you believe in the legitimacy of the authority of the UK judicial system then you may well believe in the supremacy of corporate power. By the nature of your postings many would feel that you do believe in corporate power. That's speculation since we really don't know who we are posting to in most cases.

However, I'll tell you I don't and the bad that McDonald's does far outweighs the good that they perform in the guise of philanthropic activities. But for some McDonald's is just like any other person. If you can refute this then by all means do so. I look forward to your reply.
