Hey! Lighten up, man! The human body is much tougher than many of the
cynics who post here give it credit for. "Hank The Duece" Henry Ford II
lived to be way in his 70s', and he ate at least 1 burger a day. He also
drank a lot. They say he especially liked the burgers in the executive
dining room at Ford World Headquarters (They were made with ground
New York steak).

McDonald's has no worse contraversy than any other multinational. And
I'm not gonna boycott every company that has had or has contraversy.
The Ford Pinto had a high risk of blowing up if hit from behind. I agree
that the company should have nailed that problem promptly instead of
waiting for the thousand or so casualties that resulted that goes
without saying. But most of their products are excellent, the Pinto is
no more, and I've never owned anything not bearing the Blue Oval.

And I definitely don't agree with all of McD's actions. They took a
U.S. Government handout to pay for advertising in Singapore. I don't
believe in any kind of welfare that isn't needed, either by solvent
corporations or lazy people who refuse to get a job. Cause part of
both comes from MY TAXES!! But I know at least 3 private McD franchises
in my area that are run responsibly and serve decent food at a reasonable
price.

As for the health risk, is it McD's fault that many people don't get
enough exercise and a balanced diet? It's time to take responsibility
for ourselves. The parents should teach their children better eating
habits, and not give in to their demand to go there all the time.
In moderation, it's OK. Much of what is in the supermarkets is also
fattening, if not more so. I admit I can get better at my diet. I'm
working on it.

To close, who is worse...the corporation, or Saddam Hussaine/Mormar Quadaffy
/Fidal Castro? Just something to think about.
