Hey, would it be a good idea to have a debating room
section for each of the issues raised by McSpotlight?
eg. Censorship and free-speech
Nutrition and disease
Animal welfare and rights
Enviromental responisbility
Immoral marketing and advertising
Employment issues; wages, conditions, representation etc.
etc.Also, I don't know much about the internet but could mcspotlight
have a newsgroup? - maybe TALK.MCSPOTLIGHT
and what about and IRC channel for realtime debate?Tom.
P.S. McSpotlight is pretty cool, but I LOVE the debating room.
You wouldn't see something like this provided by McDonald's
and if they did provide something similar, you can be certain
that they would edit out all the best arguments posted against
them. Its nice to see that you are not only allowing

We did consider having a separate room for each of the issues - it
would certainly be a logical way of splitting up the debate - but
were not sure whether their would be the demand for it. If we
find in a few weeks that we are getting enough mailings to warrant
creating so many different groups then we certainly will do so.As for 'could McSpotlight have a newsgroup?', this might well be
a good idea in the future, but for now we are hoping that the
Debating Room can provide most of the features of a newsgroup.
