Animals (and that includes humans) are all sentient creatures (hence their nervous systems). As for feelings in the emotional sence, they tend to be subjective but if you have ever seen a cow crying for its calf or had a dog as a pet you will know that non human animals are as capable of emotions as most humans (bar you perhaps).
